After Sergey Alexandrov’s visit to me, after seeing the models, having felt them so to speak “alive”, I really wanted to create the same model.
I can’t master the same model, but I decided to do something similar.
Based on the drawings of the Dominator.
A few photos of the main stages of assembly of the model.
From the ceiling I assembled the bearing surface of the wing. I glued the sides of the fuselage and air ducts.
The cabin is made of a plastic bottle. Cut out the figures of the pilots.
The lantern of the cabin was squeezed out on a wooden disc with a technical hairdryer. It turned out great.
Under the cover on which the cab is located the battery is located.
I installed tubes on the impellers.
For the wing profile, a frame made of spars is glued.
Carbon tube skipped over the entire width of the wing.
The wing is sheathed from above.
He made loops of double-sided tape for hanging elevons, which are clamped between two layers of the ceiling.
A place for the battery. It can be shifted to find the CT.
The battery is covered by a lid - cab.
The lantern is glued into the cab.
The wing has such a profile.
The nose of the fuselage looks like this.
Seated pilots are clearly visible.
Elevons are hung on loops pressed between two layers of honey.
Slots for the pH.
Adjustment of rudders.
All parts are glued from two layers of the ceiling, between which double-sided tape is clamped.
Racks of rudders are glued into elevons.
The model is covered with colored tape.
Sergey advised trimming the steering surfaces a bit.
This is how elevons and launch vehicles look after trimming. .
The rudders are also shortened.
Keels are also made in the same way as rudders.
Covering with black tape and mounting red stars on keels.
Impellers are glued.
Regulators will be located inside the air intake for better cooling.
Strengthens the top panel.
On which the cabin body is glued.
I found the optimal location for the keels and pasted them.
When choosing a name for the model, I read the history of the Russian Empire.
After that, the name of the model appeared - Emperor - EMPEROR Lis - 002 under serial number 011.
The option of covering the model with colored tape is not yet final.
On the model installed BANO - airborne navigation lights.
This is how BANO works.
On top of the fuselage installed a flashing multi-colored light.
This is how it works.
The final version of the design.
The model is being tested before the first flight.
It remains to fix the lid with tape and you can fly.
