It took the author here to cut a little plexiglass. It is convenient to cut large sheets with a jigsaw, of course, but making something smaller is not so comfortable, so he decided to quickly build a special knife for this. He already did something like a couple of years ago, but he was extremely scary, wrapped in electrical tape, generally not salable. Now the author will make it prettier.

Manufacturing process.
You will need a blade from a hacksaw for metal, on it the author roughly draws the contour of the future tool, you should get such a kind of hook.
Then he slowly grinds the blade on a grinding machine. The main thing here is not to overheat the steel, from which it will lose its properties. Therefore, the author periodically dips the preparation of water.
When the shape of the cutting part is formed - estimates the convenient length of the handle. Then breaks off the canvas. Insulating tape instead of a pen is of course a great option, but today the author will do everything in beauty, especially since he trimmed the trimmings of 4 mm oak lamellas, which are perfect in size. Cuts them with a jigsaw.
Then it kneads a quick-drying two-component epoxy resin and lubricates the handle halves well. Then clamps the tool in a vice.
After half an hour, you can process it further in a vice with a demell and a file brings the form to a convenient one.
Sanding a little with fine sandpaper, waxing, so that the tool lasts even longer.
But let's test it - it cuts badly.
A little fine-tuning with diamond files is now what you need.
