Good day to all. In today's article, the author of the channel “George Kosilov” will share with us his idea of how to make a holder for files.
Materials: Anchor with a diameter of 12 mm and a length of 100 mm.
A copper tube with a diameter of 15 mm.
Such an element from the old thermostat.
Instruments:
Drill.
Drill.
Nail file for metal.
Vise.
Angle grinder.
Grinding wheel.
Gas-burner.
Tin.
Solder paste.
And first of all, the author in the anchor bolt will make a hole with a diameter of 3.5 mm to a depth of 50 mm.
After making cuts as in the photo below.
Such a workpiece turned out.
Then, in the details from the thermostat, the author made a through hole.
This part should fit the size of the copper tube.
After soldered these details.
After the author recalled that he wanted to cut off the extra piece from the thermostat parts. Soldered, cut and soldered again.
Then, holding the bolt in the drill chuck, the author put a nut on it and turned it.
It turned out such a sleeve with a thread.
The outer diameter of the sleeve must fit the inner diameter of the tube.
Having installed the sleeve, in the second edge of the tube and soldered it.
The total length is 115 mm.
The author cut off 20 mm from the edge where the sleeve was soldered.
After he cut it off, the author polished the parts.
Further, the anchor body he slightly straightened.
Then installed the anchor bolt in the housing.
And after the case with the bolt installed in the tube.
After installing the part with the sleeve.
Homemade ready.
Having slightly weakened, the extreme part of the holder sets the file.
After that, just tighten the same threaded part.
And you can get to work. The file in the holder holds firmly.
Change of files in this holder is quite easy and quick.
I hope this homemade product will be useful to many. I want to say to the author, thank you very much for the useful homemade work and for the detailed instructions for its assembly.
And that's all for me. Thank you all and see you soon!
