Simple tool organizer

Hello readers and the inhabitants of our site.
They say that by starting a search for something in the apartment, you can accidentally do a spring cleaning. That is exactly what the author of our homemade product said today and set to work. Today he decided to completely deal with his instrument, which all lies in one compartment. And when you need to find one thing, you have to literally dig this mountain of tools with your hands. In this article, we will consider the process of manufacturing an organizer for tools, literally from different residues of building materials that the author was lying around in the garage.
For those who do not like to read, I attach a video with the process of making homemade products.

Materials and Tools

Manufacturing process.
As the basis for the organizer, the author chose a piece of plywood remaining after the repair, about one meter long and 50 cm wide.

Also in the garage was found the rest of the metal mesh with a cell 50x50mm. How good it is when you don’t throw anything away, everything can come in handy over time.

The author fastens the grid to the plywood using screws with a press washer. The mesh size is smaller than the size of the plywood, so the side leaves space free from the mesh. Nothing and it will be used.

Now you need to figure out what, where it will be located. The author lays out his tool on a platform with a grid according to his preference.

Now he finds in his stocks a lot of different fasteners for polypropylene pipes, and they will also be useful. On them it will be possible to hang such a tool with a round handle, such as screwdrivers and hammers, etc. We insert a suitable tool into the clips, and also lay out according to your preference on the basis of. Just on the remaining plywood section that is free from the net. Once you have decided on the location, clips can be safely screwed to the base.

On the right side of the base left another free area. An interesting organizer for various small things will be located from this region.

For it, you will need sewer plugs with a diameter of 110 mm, a piece of polypropylene pipe and some more plastic clips for this pipe. Here, the garage did not help, the author had to run to the store.

The author fastens the clips to the plugs. To do this, he first drills a hole by pressing the clip to the edge of the plug. It is necessary to press to the side so that the plug does not rotate later, relative to the fastener. Then twists them together using a screw with an M4 nut.

Thus prepares all five plugs. Now they can be snapped onto the pipe. The result was a rather interesting organizer, in the form of opening boxes for different bolts and cogs.

The pipe itself is attached to the stand, on the same plastic clips, only with a latch.

Now back to the already screwed grid. In the grid, you just need to bite the wire in the right place. It turns out a large number of hooks. The main mass of the instrument will hang on them, easily, will it?

It regrets that at home there was no mesh with a smaller cell, so the layout of the instrument would have been more dense, but what it was, of that I did. The author bites the grid in the necessary places, placing his tool on the resulting hooks, according to a previously conceived scheme.

It is also very convenient that the hooks can be bent in any direction. You can even fix a tool that cannot be suspended.

Now you should think about fastening a screwdriver. For him, the author made a kind of holster from the transition 50x70mm, from sewer pipes. Cutting out the groove under the button in it and screwing the transition to the base.

Also in the upper part of the base glued a small amount of foam. He plans to stick various small objects and tools into it. Also, for this purpose, the remainder of dense foam may well fit.

Well, the organizer is almost ready, it remains only to fix the stand on the wall. Place the tool in its place. The author pours various screws, screws and nuts into the cells.

By the way, these cells not only conveniently open, but if necessary, you can remove the desired cell with its contents, which is very convenient.

Now that’s it, the organizer is ready, and the author has solved his problem with the tool always lying around. It turned out quite well, and even budget. By the way, it would be nice to outline the contours of the tool on the basis, so as not to get confused later about what and where it used to hang, then it will be great at all. But the author found a way out of this situation in his own way, photographing the stand with the initial placement of the instrument, and placing the photo next to the stand. Now he definitely will not get confused and you will not have to outline the contours.
On this, I say goodbye to you, thanks for reading. All good, good luck and positive. Until next time, bye !!!

The idea, so-so on the C grade. Scratching the wire every time is a pleasure. Relocate to another place and patch does not work out. The hammers will fall out of the clips or they will need to be pulled out only up, which means that nothing should be above them. The place is not used rationally. My system, although not perfect, is better :)

Handsomely!
Functionally only in the "garage of an exemplary householder", when some work with the tool is done very rarely, the tool is in order. In garage realities, 200% does not work. Much more functional is an ordinary tool box and plywood, on which the necessary tool is laid out.

Class, simple and affordable. The order in the garage or workshop is provided. Well done!
