Machine manufacturing process:
Step one. We collect frame elements
The frame is the main part of the machine, it should be as strong as possible. We assemble it from profile pipes, the author performs pipe cutting on a tape cutting machine, it is simple and quick. You can deal with simpler tools, for example, a grinder, having previously marked everything up.
The frame consists of two parts, this is the lower fixed part and the upper, which can rise and fall. The upper part is on two racks of profile pipes, one pipe of a smaller diameter enters the other larger, as a result we get a telescopic effect. Reliably weld two parts, weld the spacers so that everything holds as reliably as possible.
Step Two Working axes
Next, the machine needs to install three working axes on bearings. Two axes of the author are small, and one is larger. That axis, which is larger, is installed in the upper part of the machine on fixed racks, this will be the upper stop for the pipe.For fastening, we weld steel plates to the uprights and drill holes for the bolts.
As for the other two axes, we install them on a movable platform, which will lift the jack. We drill holes in the upper part of the frame and securely fasten the bearings with bolts and nuts.
Step Three Wheel
The machine is almost ready, it remains to make a wheel, which we will twist to drive the profile pipe. We make a larger diameter, so it will take less effort to control the machine. The author makes a wheel from a profile pipe on an already manufactured machine. He brings it into action with a screwdriver, welding the head from the bolt to the working axis. We bend the pipe, cut off the excess and weld the wheel. In the center of the wheel there is a piece of the profile pipe with an opening for mounting the wheel on the axle, it remains only to weld the “spokes” from the profile pipes.
Step Four Finishing touches
The machine is ready, we paint the rusting elements of the frame, now everything looks amazing, the machine is like from a factory. We install the wheel, it is fastened with a bolt and nut, well, then the machine can be tested. The wheel rotates very easily, it will spin even by inertia, and it is also very simple to operate the jack.
