Manufacturing process.
To begin with, they mark the first blank on plywood, this is a very time-consuming process.
Then Sergey drills holes in the inner radii for the entrance of a jigsaw blade with a Forstner drill.
And cut the first part with an electric jigsaw.
Using the first part as a template, markup is applied to the second sheet of plywood.
Then cut the second workpiece.
After cutting, all surfaces should be sanded, the craftsmen used tape and orbital grinding machines.
From the remnants of plywood, slats for the chair are cut and trimmed.
The edges of the workpieces are chamfered with a hand mill.
Now you need to make recesses for jumpers. They are simple enough to make a Forstner drill. And in order for the holes to coincide on both halves, they connect the blanks together, fix them with clamps, and drill with a thin drill. This results in a fairly simple markup.
Slices lintels from wooden cuttings with a diameter of 30 mm.
Then the slats, lintels and racks are painted with a water-based stain.
Having established two emphasis fasten steel corners to laths.
Having inserted jumpers in their place, fix them with self-tapping screws.
To complete the manufacture of the base, it remains only to screw the rails to the racks. And to maintain a uniform gap between them, a piece of slat is used.
The frame is ready, and perfectly balanced.
The last thing that remains is to fix the fabric on the frame. They do this with the help of a furniture stapler, and they fix the fabric with a collar so that the brackets are not visible.
The authors have so far been laying ordinary foam rubber on the slats, and in the future there will be a mattress.
