Probably more expensive than buying ready.
the term "Grover puck" has become unacceptable
At the institute I did a course on calculating the gearbox, on the drawing (and then drew on the Kulman) I showed the cuts of these Grovers in the other direction, and only because of this I got the top three! It was a shame! smile
This is now the term "Grover's puck" has become unacceptable, but before it was, if not the main, then equal. Just look at the old textbooks.
the term “Grover washer” is an unacceptable synonym for the term “spring washer” and should not be used in all types of documentation and literature falling within the scope of standardization or using the results of this activity.
Well, in literature, now I’m not even surprised at swearing.
According to GOST 27017-86 "Fasteners. Terms and definitions" - only a spring washer. But in the technical literature, textbooks, “Grover’s puck” is a completely legitimate concept by the name of the author. Grover is a well-established technical jargon.
This refers more to technical jargon, in no reference is there a definition of "Grover washer" or "Brix thread", they write "spring washer" and "conical thread." Also, from a conversation of techies, no one will understand that a "Mauser" or "Columbus" is a caliper. But basically I agree, even slang definitions need to be written correctly.
Engraving washer
Actually - Grover’s washer, or Grover, or spring washer.
Rubber or silicone endings on the legs, as well as the normal standard photo screw at the top, would not hurt.
