About 20 years in the area there was a ring on his leg. It belonged to a younger brother who had long since grown up and is already studying at the magistracy. He did not need it, I decided, but to give it in such a terrible state would be simply wrong. Therefore, the ring was disassembled, washed, repainted and remade ...
Materials:
- plywood 12mm
- glands with a thickness of 1.5mm
- old ring with mesh
Tool used by the wizard:
- a drill with a head for verified (because walking behind a screwdriver was too lazy)
- grinder
-
- electric jigsaw
- screwdrivers, tape measures, corner, pencil
- glue like "titan"
Manufacturing process:
We disassemble the old ring. All that remains of it is, in fact, the ring itself, the grid and the cogs. The old shield is definitely for recycling (if it would be in our country ...), I can give a pipe and a stand-tank, if anyone needs it, I don’t like to throw away plastic again
Transfer the outline of the shield to plywood and cut it out with a jigsaw. We no longer need a shield
Since the ring needs to be deepened into the shield by 30 millimeters, we make spacers from the same plywood, glue them to the shield in a pile, drill holes for wall mount and cover with metal strips on top of which the ring will hang on the wall
Then suddenly you realize that I’ve messed up with the calculations and there’s not enough depth under the ring ...
But you quickly find a solution that is even better than the original
We paint the shield and plywood from the spray can and we get such a ring at the exit
The ring is specially made removable for 2 reasons: 1) to remove when you leave with cottagesso that it doesn’t wet the rain. Plywood does not like rain. 2) And to be able to outweigh the ring above when the tribe grows up))
