Before starting the manufacture of this home-made product, or rather, before cutting the balloon, the author urges you to be extremely careful and take safety measures. To begin with, the author gently unscrews the faucet to lower the remaining gas.
After blowing well with a compressor.
Then he will fill the water in the tank, and install the tap in place.
Then he will make a hole in the wall of the cylinder.
After unscrewing the tap, it will drain the water.
And only after these procedures, the author will cut the cylinder with a jigsaw.
The author set aside the upper part to the side, in this homemade product he would not need it. And on the bottom, the author will process the edges with a petal circle.
After he takes the pipe and cuts from it three not large identical pieces, this will be the fastening of the legs.
It will then process the edges of these blanks.
After that he will take three pieces of pipe, of a smaller diameter, with a small bend at one end. These are the future removable legs of the barbecue. They should be freely installed in the blanks that the author did earlier.
Then the first three blanks, the author will weld to the bottom of the container, at an equal distance from each other.
After will make one hole in them.
And to these holes, weld one nut each.
Then he will cut three pieces from a steel bar of about 40 mm - 50 mm length.
And having processed the edges.
Welds these parts to the bolt caps that the master installed in the nuts.
It turned out like this.
After set the legs.
And aligned the edges of the legs.
Having cut off the excess and processed the place of the cut.
After sheet metal, the author cut out three round blanks.
And welded them to the legs, as shown in the photo.
Then he made a couple of holes in the wall of the cylinder.
And he installed one of the handles in them (which he had made of a steel bar as before) and welded it on the inside of the cylinder.
On the other hand, did a similar procedure.
Then he made a small cut for the grill handle.
After deciding on the height for grille mounts.
And taking three corners, welded them in the marked places.
Like this. The same author made, not large openings in the bottom of the air cylinder.
Fitting.
Then picking up a pallet of a suitable size.
He made two holes in the bottom of the cylinder with a drill of about 8 mm.
And taking a couple of pieces of the bar.
Set them in the holes and welded from the outside.
Then he made two holes in the pallet so that the pallet was mounted on rods.
After did the marking, at the bottom of the pallet.
And then with the help of a nail and a hammer, he made holes on the marking.
It turned out such a sieve.
Then he installed the resulting sieve in its place.
Also installed in its place, legs.
And the grill.
And the result was a good, and not expensive, home-made “barbecue”.
