Hello the inhabitants of our site!!! Many of you have been picking mushrooms and berries in the forest. Once, after picking mushrooms when leaving the forest, I came across a dumped tree that fell on the road. It did not make sense to look for a detour in an unfamiliar place, it’s good that for these purposes in the car I always take a shovel, a hacksaw and an ax with me. Having cut the tree, removed it from the road, safely reached the house.
A hacksaw made from a two-handed saw is well suited for this job. She can one person saw off a fallen tree with a diameter of up to 30-35 cm, and also use this hacksaw during construction work to cut thick boards and boards.
To make a hacksaw, we need such tools.
Two-handed saw, grinder, file, electric drill, drill, fine sandpaper, wiring for saws, plywood 10mm - for handles, a jigsaw, two M6 bolts, nuts and washers for them, two 16mm screws, a 10mm wrench and a Phillips screwdriver.

Step 1.
On a two-handed saw with chalk, we mark the contour of the future hacksaw 50 cm long.
Step 2
Grinder cut off the size we need. Sandpaper process the surface of the canvas from rust. We drill two holes with a diameter of 6 mm for the handle.
Step 3
Using the jigsaw, we cut out two identical pens from plywood; their sizes can be copied from the factory hacksaw. We handle the handles with a file and an emery cloth, drill holes for the bolts.
Step 4. We install a hacksaw blade between the handles, connecting them using bolts and nuts M6
We connect the second half of the handles using self-tapping screws, having previously made small indentations for the heads of the self-tapping screws. After that, we make the wiring of the hacksaw and sharpen it with a file. We check the finished tool by sawing off a piece of thick timber.
