Manufacturing process.
So, Vladimir found such a cut from ash. But he has several radial cracks. You need to get rid of them.
Cuts the massif of a tree into cracks on circular and miter saws.
Then the author levels the surface with a jointer.
Glues the first two pieces.
After the glue of the first halves has dried, glues them together, fixes with clamps.
Then, using a hand milling cutter and a table, it smooths the surface of the workpiece.
After milling, the master polishes the surface with a tape machine.
Then cuts off unnecessary bark.
The ends of the workpiece are ground.
Next, a mirror is cut to size, and its corners are slightly rounded.
The marking of the perimeter of the mirror is transferred to the workpiece, and the groove is selected by the milling cutter.
Then the excess material is sawn with an electric jigsaw. From the rest, the master will make a stand for hot items, it will come in handy in the kitchen.
External and internal faces are rounded off by a grinding nozzle at random.
Then they are sanded with sandpaper manually.
The mirror is glued into place using silicone sealant.
All wooden surfaces are wax treated.
It remains to tighten the loop, and hang the mirror in its place.
