A T-shaped tip with a rubber tip is designed to replace damaged and install new flexible loops without overheating. The process of working with such a sting is closer to high-temperature gluing than to soldering. In the absence of a soldering iron, you can warm up the gum on this sting with an ordinary iron (about 30 seconds at maximum temperature). The working part of the tip is connected to the rod by a threaded connection, so that if necessary, the tip can be disassembled. The seller has three types of tips - for 30 W, 40 W and 60 W soldering irons. The rubber part comes in the form of a tape 240 mm long. The length of the working part of the tip is 33 mm, the length of the rod is 42 mm.
The procedure for working with such a sting is as follows: a strip of anisotropic conductive glue is carefully placed on the indicator glass or on the board and a ribbon cable is applied from above (a situation often occurs when the ribbon itself has already been treated with adhesive) by correctly matching its contacts with the contacts on the board, then press the ribbon cable to circuit board and evenly warm it. The matrix with this installation method is not damaged.
A similar sting is useful as for creating all kinds of electronic homemade, and for the repair of equipment for which the display stopped working due to the fact that the cable to it simply peeled off over time.
