Why is this aircraft model so good that almost every aircraft model in its life built this model? So I, too, did not escape the temptation to build this beautiful and mysterious aircraft model. At the end of April 2012, I became very passionate and proceeded with the creation of my model called “Pink Flamingo”.
I am very grateful to all the forum users, RC Design, who accepted me into the ranks of the "polarisovodov" and helped with advice in creating my model.
As usual, I did not bother to strictly observe the drawings of this model provided on the Internet, and built a model quite similar to Polaris. The model turned out beautiful.

Unfortunately, there were no other videos of that model, and few photos remained.
A lot of time passed, but the idea of creating a Polaris model from the exact drawings did not leave me, and I again proceeded with the creation of this aircraft model. To be honest, I have already taken to this model twice and both times, I quit construction, either because of illness, or simply because of my laziness.
This time I seriously approached the creation of the model. The scale chose 120% of the original, since there was a motor suitable for power and the right screw.
As usual, it all started with drawings.
As a material for creating an aircraft model, I chose a simple, sheet substrate for a laminate, which I liked when building other aircraft models, with a size of 1200 X 500 X 5 mm.
This material is very convenient, the thickness of 5 mm allows you to not glue in two layers, as is done when working with the ceiling (ceiling tiles) and also does not need to be glued butt, the dimensions of the backing sheet allow this to be done when the wing of the model is opened.
All the main parts for assembling the model are cut out.
The tail unit requires more strength. Need to think.
He began installation work on the assembly of the fuselage.

All basic installation work for the model is completed. You can begin to install the motor, servos, boars and connect the traction to the steering surfaces.
