Air model on the radio control "Seryoga"

Hello dear aircraft modellers and everyone who wants to start creating their first aircraft model.
Today I want to tell you about my friend and mentor who created a series of video clips - a master class on building a Cessna radio-controlled aircraft model. My story is not an advertisement, it is a small thank you to the person who made a huge contribution to the work of popularizing and developing aircraft modeling sports.

July 19 marks the 6th anniversary of the release of the first video clip.

That's why mine model unlike the model created in the video clips, it bears the name “Seryoga”, in honor of the author.
For this series of video clips, I awarded the author, Sergey Shevyrin, my cup.

I will not talk much about the construction of my model, which was built precisely on the video lessons of Sergey, you yourself can watch all the videos on YouTube.

To build the model, I used a simple, sheet substrate for a laminate with a size of 1200X500X5 mm.

The glue used a universal, moisture-resistant "Titanium", used for gluing ceiling tiles (ceilings).

The substrate under the laminate that I use is very well suited for this model, there is no need to glue the sides of the fuselage and other parts of the model end-to-end, which you have to do when making the model from a ceiling with dimensions of 500 X 500 mm. And the thickness of the substrate is 5 mm, in many cases it allows avoiding bonding in two layers.

I’ll add a little explanation to my photos.

The model was made according to these drawings provided by Sergey Shevyrin.

I began to make a model with mounting the fuselage and installing servos.

I tried the receiver in the compartment under the wing.

As individual parts of the model were glued together, I covered it with colored tape.

This is what the model’s wing looks like.

Trying a wing on a model.

This is how the assembled model looks like.

The model is ready to fly.

The motor on the model is 2212 1400kv.
Screw - 8 x 6.
The regulator is 40 A.
Battery - 3S 1300mAh,
Servos - NHT900 (any 9 g.)

Strong winds, cold weather with rain do not give the first flight.
Here is a video of the first flight of Sergey’s Cessna model.

I wish you a successful construction of the first aircraft model and beautiful flights.
Let me finish your story in New York. Goodbye, see you soon. Your valerian.

VP - airspace. According to the adopted bill No. 547297-7 ANY (FOR ANY TAKEOFF WEIGHT!) The aircraft model is equated to an aircraft with the need to register with the Federal Air Transport Agency with a weight of more than 0.25 kg and the permissive procedure for using the VP for EVERY flight of ANY aircraft model. Fine from 20 to 50 tr

Excuse me ... Did I understand correctly? VP
No, then there would be GDP! xaxa
That is not. It is rather a runway, where the grasshoppers are landing ... Well, or CA - Agricultural Aviation. This is the case with aviators.
Excuse me ... Did I understand correctly? "VP" is Vladimir Putin?

Yeah ... and now put it on the shelf and enjoy! Or prepare a fine of 50 kilo rubles for the illegal use of VP ... So, just in case.
At first I didn’t understand why the model was “Serge”, but when I saw the photo of Sergey Shevyrin, I immediately understood)) yes, his Cessna 150 is already a simple star! And thanks to his videos, I can say I got sick again with aircraft modeling!
