In this article, the Wizard will tell and show us how he made the clamp for the drilling machine.
So, to make such a clamp, the master used the following
Tools and materials:
-Plywood;
-Sandpaper;
-Fasteners;
- Joiner's glue;
-Insulating tape;
-Drilling machine;
-Dremel;
-Vise;
-Welding clamp;
-Band-saw;
-Drill;
- Clamps;
-Marker;
-Grinder;
-Circular Saw;
Step One: Cutting Plywood
First you need to cut the plywood to fit the desktop of the drilling machine.
Step Two: Guides
On plywood, the master marks the installation locations of the guides. Drills holes in the guides for the screws. Screws them to the plywood base.
The guides are screwed, and now you need to cut three plywood blanks and glue them to the base. Thus, the upper cut of the guides will be flush with the base.
Step Three: Sponges
Sponges are made of two different types of wood. Between the soft wood blanks, a solid blank is glued. Sponges are cut at an angle of 45 degrees.
Drill mounting holes.
It polishes the sponges and sticks strips of sandpaper on them.
Step Four: Bolts
Now you need to prepare the bolts. The bolts have a T-shaped head and are inserted by the head into the guides. The master inserts the bolts into the guides and installs the sponge. Marks the place where the bolt exits the sponge.
Files the bolts. Bends them.
All is ready. Now you can assemble the clamp and try it out.
