Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Chop materials
First of all, we will cut all the necessary materials, for homemade work you will need a high-quality even board from a beautiful breed of wood. We will need to cut a piece for the leg, a piece for the base, and also need boards to make a shelf with a compartment. The design feature is to make it seem solid, for this board needs to be cut at an angle of 45 degrees. It is important in the process to glue everything so that the pattern of wood at the corners matches. Here, a circular saw, as well as a miter, will come to our aid.
Step Two Grooves
To assemble the whole structure, we need to cut the grooves in the boards, here we need a milling machine or at least a drill, if you want to assemble everything on dowels. Step Three Base and foot
We have the leg from the board, we need to perpendicularly and securely attach it to another piece of the board, which is the base. Here we need furniture dowels and wood glue. The author drills the holes using a special guide, as a result, the drill goes clearly at right angles.
Step Four Assembly and completion
We assemble the entire structure, here we need carpentry glue, dowels and many clamps. We glue and tighten everything well, leave this whole thing to dry.
After drying, we go through an orbital sander and grind everything to a perfectly smooth state. That's all, the homemade product is almost ready, soak it with wood oil and optionally apply a layer of wax on top.
