I want to tell you about model aircraft that existed only in the project. Recently, this photo often began to appear on the Internet.
I was curious to know the details of this project and after a closer acquaintance with it, I had a desire to make this project a reality. Immediately make a reservation that I was not going to make a full copy of this aircraft.
A bit of history.
Unfortunately, we do not know the names of many designers of aviation equipment, among which was A.S. Moskalev, the author of many aircraft that liked I.V. Stalin himself.
To implement my idea, I applied my favorite, simple substrate for a laminate, with a size of 1000 X 500 X 5 mm.
Glue, as usual, I used "KIN" - universal, waterproof.
I chose the dimensions of the aircraft model based on the components that I had available.
Motors - 3010С 1300kV. 480W. With a thrust of 1650 each. - 2 pcs.
Regulators - 60A. - 2 pcs.
Screws - 8X6 three-blade - 2 pcs.
Servos - MG90S- 3 pcs.
The battery is 1500 mAh. 20-30C.
The result is:
length - 1600 mm.
span - 1350 mm.
weight (without battery) - 1500 g
The model was made using these drawings, on which the dimensions I needed were put down.
The basis of the model is a supporting platform that combines elements of a wide fuselage and wings.
On this platform all the main details of the model are attached.
To provide the wing with the necessary profile and the necessary strength, ribs are made and glued into place.
On top of these ribs, the upper wing skin is glued.
Between the ribs, the lateral and internal partitions of the ducts are glued.
The lower plane of the ducts is glued to these partitions.
Between the two ducts, in the center of the lower plane of the supporting platform, an internal bearing comb is glued along the entire length of the model.
The lower fuselage plane is glued to this crest.
I want to note that I made the lower plane from a sheet substrate under a laminate 3 mm thick in two layers.

On top of the supporting platform, along the entire length, the same stiffening rib is glued as on the lower surface on which the outer, upper fuselage skin is mounted.
He cut out the keels and tried on in his place.
Until the back of the upper casing is mounted, motor frames are glued, slots are made for rotating the screws, servos are mounted and wires from the servos are laid.
On top of the nose of the fuselage is trying on a cockpit with figures of four pilots.
In the bow of the fuselage, under the cockpit, a hatch is made and a mechanism for turning the front landing gear is mounted.
I paste the back of the upper fuselage lining and spend the local covering of the model with colored tape.
There is a design work.
Engines are installed.
Mounted chassis and keels.
Chassis racks are made of sheet aluminum, 2.5 mm thick. Used wheels from old roller skates. A bit heavy, but firm and durable.
Further covering of the model with colored tape, installation of inscriptions and decorative details continues.
I mount the ailerons. I hang steering surfaces on an adhesive tape, strengthening it with strips of bilateral adhesive tape, instead of loops.
At this work on the manufacture of aircraft models completed, there were small, minor improvements.

As you already noticed, I gave the name of the model - “Baryon”, which means “heavy” in Greek.
Once upon a time I was building similar aircraft models and introduced you to them, but this model is significantly different from them, primarily by its weight and its bearing wide fuselage. And by design, it is the LC - flying wing.
