To repeat this phenomenon, you need to fold a long chain into a tall flask. Then one of its edges is dropped from a height, for example, a flight of stairs, or a window.
The chain accelerates quickly enough, and its “eyelet” rises above the upper edge of the bulb to a very high height. Be careful, the second end of the chain flies out at a very high speed like a whip.
