Hi everyone, I propose to consider a powerful meat grinder based on an asynchronous motor from a 750-watt pump. Such homemade Not only is it able to grind meat with veins, but also on it you can thresh grain, corn, horseradish (plant roots) and much more. The assembly of the homemade product is quite simple, the motor is hinged pivotally, the contents of the tank are poured out by tilting the engine 90 degrees. Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Motor preparation
First of all, we disassemble the old pump, remove everything unnecessary, this applies to the impeller. There is also an oil seal on the motor shaft, it must be replaced with a new one in order to protect the motor from harmful liquids.
Further, the author armed himself with a grinder and cut off the excess part of the hull; as a result, we got a long axis of uneven diameter. To align the axis, the author started the engine and with the help of a grinder removed the excess metal, we grind the axis diameter to the diameter of the drill, with which we will drill a hole in the meat grinder case.
Step Two Making a case for a meat grinder
We make a case for a meat grinder, for this we need a saucepan of a suitable diameter. If you are thinking of using the machine as a grain mill, we take a steel pan, an aluminum one will not last so long.
We drill a hole in the center of the bottom of the pan, the shaft should go into the hole with the smallest possible clearance.
We also drill holes for the mounting screws and securely fix the pan with screws and nuts.To prevent water from passing through the screw caps, rubber or even paper linings can be made under them.
Step Three Knife
We make a simple meat-grinder knife, use good steel, you can completely make a meat-grinder knife from a suitable kitchen knife. The knife has a square hole, we also grind the motor shaft under the tetrahedron. To fix the knife, the author welded a piece of a threaded rod to the motor shaft, fasten the knife with a nut. So that everything can be disassembled by hand, you can weld a steel wire arch to the nut.
Step Four Check
As an experiment, the author poured water into the tank of the machine. Water does not leak anywhere, which means that nothing threatens the motor, the remaining microcracks are immediately walled up during the first use of the meat grinder.
If water leaks, you need to solve the problem, otherwise you will be shocked, and the motor will not last long.
Step Five Frame
We make a simple frame for the engine, the motor will hinge, which will make it possible to turn it to empty the tank. Of course, you need to mount the motor somewhere in the center, so that you do not have to spend a lot of energy on lifting a heavy motor.
The author assembled a frame from a corner and steel plates.
Step Six Assembly and testing
We paint all parts of the car so that the wife is not afraid of homemade work, we collect everything, we put a reliable knife switch in an accessible place. Of course, it would be nice to turn on such a motor using grounding, this will protect you from electric shock in case of breakdown of insulation or wetting of the motor.
To demonstrate the work, the meat was quickly and perfectly chopped. After work, pour water into the tank, with one movement of the hand we unscrew the nut and remove the knife. Everything is easy to clean, we pour out dirty water.
