Simple, home-made emphasis for a circular saw

Hello dear readers andthe inhabitants of our site!
Almost every machine always requires different fixtures. Usually they cost a lot of money, and if the machine is also made independently, then it is required to produce additional devices that make it easier to work with it.

In this article, the author of the Woodworking Tips and Tricks YouTube channel will tell you how to quickly make a sufficiently high-quality emphasis for a circular saw literally from trash.

This homemade product is very easy to manufacture, and will fit almost any circular machine.

Materials
- sheet plywood
- Maple beam
- Wood screws, washers.

Instruments, used by the author.
—  A circular saw
—  Screwdriver
—  Clamps
- Drilling machine
- Ruler, square, pencil.

Manufacturing process.
Prior to his homemade work (however, the author himself does not claim to be the originality of this idea), the master worked with such an emphasis fixed by clamps from the front and rear edges of the countertop. When moving it, it was necessary to constantly control the alignment with the saw blade.

Now he intends to construct such an emphasis that would hold firmly on one mount, and it would be easy and convenient to move along the table.
To implement his project, he uses maple timber for the emphasis, and plywood for fastening.

On a circular table, the author cuts two strips of 80 mm wide from a plywood sheet. This is the future mount for fixing the emphasis on the table.

To attach plywood strips to the base - maple wood of the stop - the master drills three extended (larger) holes for the screws.

Such wide openings are needed in order to provide sufficient space for alignment and attachment of the structure at right angles to the countertop of the circular machine.

Through the finished holes in the plywood sheet, points are transferred to the stop surface with a pencil, through which symmetrical pilot holes are then drilled.

The plywood board is screwed to the stop with screws with washers placed under them, however they are not tightened to the end, then fine adjustment will be required.

The circular saw blade rises to the limit. Then, close to him, an impromptu emphasis is placed on the surface of the countertop.

After aligning the stop and the plywood guide at 90 degrees relative to the edge of the table, the guide is fixed with a stop clamp. After this, the screws are completely twisted.

A second piece of plywood is applied on the right side of the stop mount and cut to its size with an electric jigsaw.

Then the second layer of plywood is fixed on the substrate with screws.

Further, on the left side of the guide, a slot is marked for the size of the neck of the clamp. Then it is cut with the same electric jigsaw.

The emphasis is reliably pressed by a clip to a table-top. Even one fastening is enough to firmly “sit” on the table.

Everything is ready, now you can work.

I thank the author for a simple but useful tool for a circular saw!
All good mood, good luck, and interesting ideas!
