I welcome all fans to craft, I propose to consider instructions for making a simple bed for a grinder, which will allow you to easily clean pipes from dirt and rust. Homemade assembled from a corner and a steel plate, and the grinder with a wire brush is the immediate working body. Homemade manufacturing process:
Step one. Fasteners
First of all, the author made fasteners that will allow you to fix the grinder on the bed and adjust it in height. You will need steel plates, drill holes in them, and then combine the holes with a grinder, you should get holes for the bolts.
Step Two The foundation
As a basis, the author used a corner with a width of about 5-6 cm, the pipe being cleaned will lie in the corner as in a gutter. In the corner in the right place we cut out the metal, in this place there will be a wire brush.
Step Three Assembly and testing
We assemble home-made, ears are welded to the corner at right angles. To strengthen the corner in the place where the pieces for the brush were cut, the author welded between this place and the fasteners spacers of steel bars.
The corner itself can be welded to the base in the form of a plate, or you can weld fasteners to it for fixing in a vice.
At the end, we clean the metal and paint everything from the spray can.
We install the grinder on the bed, put the wire brush. The author includes the grinder through Dimmer and adjusts the speed as he needs. The machine easily cleans the round pipe from rust, the pipe needs to be twisted and advanced. We raise or lower the grinder depending on the diameter of the pipe being cleaned. Of course, this way you can clean and profile pipes, as well as rods, fittings and so on.
