Mini chest of drawers for tablets or netbooks

This development of the author Instructables under the nickname darlingtom is useful in the school classroom, where before the lesson students are handed out tablets or netbooks, and after that they are taken away. It was inconvenient to keep them in the closet, and to charge them all the more. Another thing is a small chest of drawers with shelves, each of which is equipped with thin partitions. It also provides chargers and cooling tablets / netbooks while charging.

Work on homemade the master begins with the acquisition of plywood sheets with a thickness of 15 mm and dimensions of 2400x1200 mm. It is enough for 8 walls with dimensions of 600x600 mm each. Since the cube consists of 6 walls, and from 3 such sheets they can be made 24, it turns out that 3 sheets are exactly 4 chests of drawers. And so, cutting the sheets into squares, the master begins to collect cubes from them with glue and nails, each without one side wall so far:

The master cuts the remaining walls in half, receiving doors from them. They are installed on dressers in the usual way:

Provides a padlock mount:

Makes shelves with grooves every 40 mm and planks for attaching to the back wall:

Each chest of drawers requires four such shelves. Having installed them in their places, the master installs the partitions as shown below. The height of the partition is 200 mm, the depth is 230, and the thickness is 6. Inclined sections are needed to make tablets or netbooks more convenient to remove.

Chests of drawers are ready, although it is better to add legs or rollers to them. The master takes extension cords and stuffs them to the eyeballs with power supplies:

It provides cooling holes in the upper wall; stickers like “pirostiker” on the doors on the inside will not interfere.

The following is an optional step: the wizard draws up dressers in the style of Tardis devices from the Doctor Who series. Please note: now the legs are added to them.

The master thanks the blogger under the nickname John Umekubo for his ideas, in particular, on the construction of shelves with partitions.
