The Makita HR 2470 hammer drill has double protective isolation. It can work as a jackhammer and as a drill. During reverse rotation (reverse), the engine runs at the same speed and torque.
In case of reactive torque, a special limiter is present in the perforator. Anchor and carbon brushes, as well as all internal parts of the punch, are protected from dust, which increases its service life. The maximum drilling diameter for concrete: a diamond core is 65 mm, and a carbide core bit is 54 mm.
Manufacturer Makita supplies 2470 rotary hammer instead of 2450. New model identical in characteristics and internal content, but has only two differences - rubber pads on the case and reverse switching by turning brushes.
