Making such a self-moving bug will be interesting to children, and amuse adults. Moreover, this does not require a lot of time, but for the production you need a minimum of parts.
Tools and materials:
- DC motor 5-9V;
-Battery 9V;
- Terminals;
-Switch;
-Red LEDs - 2 pcs;
-Resistor;
-Wire;
-Glue gun;
-Double sided tape;
Step One: Concept
The circuit is very simple and should not cause difficulties even for people who are little familiar with electronics.
Step Two: Build
Next, the master proceeds to assemble the beetle. Assembles a terminal circuit - switch - motor.
Mounts LEDs and resistor.
Double-sided tape sticks to the battery. The motor and switch are glued to the tape.
Sets the LEDs.
Step Three: Feet
He makes legs out of wire as in the photo.
Fixes them with hot glue.
Step Four: Connect and Imbalance
Next, you need to connect the terminals to the battery connectors.
The beetle moves due to vibration. To create it on the motor shaft, you need to fix any object that creates an imbalance. In this case, this is the terminal from the electrical appliance.
Now it remains to close the chain and install the beetle on a solid, level surface.
