Meets a brand new, lightweight, fully driven karakat with an engine and gearbox from the CPD. It used bridges from the Muscovite M-412, steering M-41, and as wheels - offal from the VI-3 with lugs from V-belts, which pretty much contributes to cross-country ability.
Sealed boats add buoyancy, and the knot of a fracture from the UAZ fist, with its native SHRUS, makes this karakat one of the most passable vehicles in off-road conditions. Also in this all-terrain vehicle, which even the language does not turn to name homemade, applied transfer, lowering chain gear. There is no additional gearbox, but it is not necessary.
Appearance is just sweetie! All would be homemade all-terrain vehicles looked like that. You can call this appearance exemplary and equal to it during the construction of your karakat. They say what you call a ship, so it will sail. I think that karakat should look ... like this one))
In general, the karakats were originally intended to overcome marshy and swampy places, to deliver people and goods to areas difficult to access for ordinary equipment. But today they have reached a slightly different level. Now, in my opinion, they are a lot of competition with ATVs, because for trips to the hunt there is no better means of transportation than air passageand the price of a home-made karakat is relatively cheaper than an ATV (I don’t take into account “toy” ATVs of 60t.r.)
Having the information on the assembly, which is now quite a lot on the Internet, you can collect an excellent karakat on your own in your own the garage. And during its operation you will not need the Mercedes service, as it uses all available components and assemblies from Russian technology, which can be found without problems in auto- and motorcycle parts stores.
