Liquid soap is very popular these days. It is used in offices, in many institutions and even at home. Such a soap has a number of advantages, among which hygiene and ease of use can be noted. However, liquid soap needs a special reservoir from which it must be supplied. Such a tank is called a dispenser and is sold in almost any supermarket. However, we would not be able to cope with our task if we did not offer you a method of manufacturing a dispenser for liquid soap in home conditions.
First of all, as always, we suggest you familiarize yourself with the process of making a home-made dispenser in the author’s video.
So, what do we need:
- stationery knife;
- an empty bottle of detergent;
- stationery clip;
- scissors.
The author of the video uses a bottle of detergent for windows. Let's start making a homemade dispenser.
First we need to remove the gun from the bottle.
On the gun is a tube through which a detergent is supplied. It is this tube that we need to cut off as follows.
Next, we need to make a slot at the bottom of the bottle to insert the mount there. As a fastening in our case, we use a regular stationery clip, or more precisely, one of the two metal springs, which we also remove.
We will fix the clamp so that our dispenser can be suspended, so the slot should not be very wide, otherwise the ears of the spring will not have anything to cling to.
After we made a slot with a clerical knife, we insert our clip into it. As for the process of cutting the bottom, it is advised to do it with a hot knife, since the bottom of the bottles of detergents, as a rule, is thick.
The dispenser is actually ready. It remains only to close the lid, or rather screw the gun back and pour liquid soap. We hang the dispenser on a hook or carnation. Before use, the author advises putting the head in the spray position, since in this position the dispenser will not spray you.
