ArtBots is an international robotics talent show. It presents not only complex models of robots, but also easy to manufacture, made from cheap materials. Step 1: Vibration Motor
What would robot moved, you need a vibration motor. Its author decided to extract from a Chinese electric toothbrush purchased for $ 1. She took off the bottom of her toothbrush and hit the table several times with a brush. The engine should fall out of the toothbrush.
As we can see from the photo, this is a conventional engine on the shaft of which, for imbalance, a flywheel is installed with an offset from the center.
Step 2: Preparing Robot Parts

Step 3: Install the electrical circuit
Screws a wire to the motor terminal. On the other side of the wire, a paper clip is screwed.
One wire of the battery compartment is screwed to another motor contact. Fastens a paper clip to the second wire. Paper clips will play the role of a switch.

Step 4: Engine Installation
Secures the engine and battery compartment to the glass with tape.
Step 5: Install the legs
The author made the legs out of felt-tip pens. Attaches markers to the glass with tape. They will perform the same function of drawing.
Step 6: Decor
Decorates the robot, glues eyes.
