Thanks to improvised means you can in home conditions amplify the Wi-Fi signal of the adapter. No rare materials are needed for this, and a makeshift amplifier is made rather quickly.
We will need:
- Wi-Fi adapter;
- a metal plate with slots;
- USB extension cable;
- a tripod;
- laptop (from the author of the lesson HP DV1000);
- glue.
Step 1
First, cut a rectangular hole with a sharp knife in the center of the metal plate. Cut out? Then proceed immediately to the next step.
Step 2
Insert the USB extension cable into the hole, glue the connection point with glue for reliability.
Step 3
Connect the Wi-Fi adapter to the glued extension cable connector.
Step 4
Now the author made a small hole in the plate for a tripod.
Step 5
The top of the tripod is inserted into the slot. The photo shows how the design should look.
Step 6
The second extension cord connector is connected to the laptop.
Now it remains only to test the speed and signal strength of the Wi-Fi Internet - you should now have them higher!
