Nowadays, items are becoming increasingly popular. of furniturecombining unusual design, style and functionality. Such furniture can be made do it yourself from improvised materials, giving it the look that you like.
One example is a sofa made of pallets with drawers.
You will need: 3 dry and clean whole wooden pallets with overall dimensions of 120 x 80 cm, another 3 disassembled (broken) wooden pallets, 4 furniture wheels (required with brakes), 2 furniture handles, 6 mm thick plywood sheets, screws of different lengths, tools for woodwork (drill, jigsaw, grinder), paint, impregnation or varnish for wood - the material with which you will process the finished product, a brush, a screwdriver, sandpaper, goggles and four sofa cushions.

Clean the wooden pallets from dust and dirt, remove all protruding nails and clean the surface with sandpaper. Attach furniture rollers to one of the pallets - this is the basis of the future sofa.
Now you need to make the back. To do this, cut a rectangular shape with dimensions 47x91 cm from the second pallet.
The third pallet is also cut into parts, the size of which is 47x80 cm. For the sides of the sofa.
The gaps between the boards of the pallet must be closed - for this we will use boards from broken or disassembled pallets.
Attach the backrest to the base with long screws.
Fasten the side parts in the same way - three screws on each side will suffice.
Fill holes with the help of slats from broken pallets. Cover the sofa with varnish or paint and let it dry thoroughly.
From the remains of the broken pallets and plywood, make 2 drawers, 35x38 cm in size and a side height of 10 cm. After painting (or other processing), attach a furniture handle to each of them and insert on both sides into the base of the sofa.
Now it remains only to put sofa cushions and enjoy a well-deserved rest!
