In this material, we present to your attention a video clip in which the author implements an interesting idea for making a nozzle for a crane with a backlight, which will turn on when it opens and turns off when closed.
Let's start by watching the author’s video
So we need:
- attachment on the crane;
- electrical tape;
- ;
- four tablet batteries;
- cold welding.
The first step is to bend the legs of the LED. The plus leg needs to be bent to the side near the light bulb itself, and the minus one should be slightly indented.
Next, we shorten the negative leg of the LED, and bend the plus one again at a right angle.
We connect all the batteries with a piece of electrical tape.
We take the leg of the LED, which was bit off from the minus, we push it on top under the electrical tape.
Next, we take the LED and insert a short minus leg under the insulating tape of the negative part of the batteries.
Now you need to slightly redo the nozzle on the crane. We disassemble it and cut out the middle part so that the LED fits there.
At this step, it is necessary to insulate the structure with cold welding. At this step, you need to take into account that the two wires that stick out from the batteries are located as close to each other as possible.
Before insulation of the structure, it is necessary to thoroughly mix the components of cold welding to obtain a homogeneous mass.
After about an hour, the cold weld will dry completely.
Putting the filter back. Two contacts must remain outside so that the LED turns on when water gets on them and the circuit closes.
According to the author, such a filter will shine for about six months. After this time, the charge in the batteries will drain and it will be necessary to make a new filter.
