For your beloved pet you always want to create the best conditions. It’s right when the dog’s bowl is at the level of the muzzle. Here you can make such a bowl from improvised tools with virtually no investment.
To assemble the design, the author suggests:
Purchase two plastic bowls at your local pet store.
- Find an old plastic pipe half an inch, a length of 1 meter will be sufficient
- Purchase two half-inch crosses per half inch with wall mounts
- Find the old bike mounts in the form of horns. If they are not, then use a regular pipe clamp in a half inch. Make a hole in the middle of the clamp and insert a bolt 150 mm in length there. It is necessary to find a nut and washer, a little smaller in diameter than a half inch of the pipe. Then cut off 150 mm of the plastic pipe in half an inch and put on top of the bolt, thereby attaching it to the clamp and tighten the nut. So that she pressed the pipe to the clamp.
- Prepare nails per 100 mm; 4 pieces are enough, you can rusty
- To find a profile or a tin sheet, you can leftovers, the main thing is that the length is 300 mm.
Now start the build:
- we saw the pipe into 3 parts, two of which are 250 mm long (plate holders) and one 700 mm.
- in parts of 250 mm, cut out the middle 160 mm long (the diameter of this plate, if the plate is larger or smaller, respectively its size), so that the top of the pipe is cut to half
- stepping back 45 mm from each edge, make through holes and insert prepared nails there
- cut a strip of 250 mm long, 10 mm wide from tin and fold it into a scroll
- in the middle of the 250 mm tube, make another hole, and fasten this scroll with a screw in the tube
- we do the same with the second piece of pipe 250 mm, then we take insulation and wrap the sharp parts of the nails and tin scroll
- using a soldering iron for plastic pipes, solder prepared pipes of 250 mm through the crosspiece
- to the third conclusion of the cross (on which 250 mm tubes are soldered) we solder the prepared clamp with a bolt from a plastic pipe or heat up the cross and insert the “horn” from the bicycle there and tighten it with a screw.
- we put on a pipe clamp 700 with a wall mount, then solder with a soldering iron
- we put on a pipe of 700 mm, which already with a crosspiece prepared structure of 250 mm tubes and a "horn" or a clamp with a tube. We solder the last cross on the 700 mm pipe.
- we attach the entire structure to the intended mounting location on the wall or on of furniture
The adjustment of the rise of the plate is carried out by unclenching the clamp and, accordingly, raising it up or unclenching the bolt to the "horn". The amount of the entire structure will cost 150 rubles to purchase the missing parts.
