Skipping rope - sports equipment originally from childhood. Then jumping on it was perceived as entertainment, nowadays it is a popular type of sports exercises (skipping).
Jumping rope brings a lot of benefits:
- improve the figure due to the study of various muscle groups of the shoulder girdle, arms, press, legs;
- burn calories and, accordingly, excess body weight;
- improve posture, flexibility, a sense of balance, the work of the respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
In shops you can find a wide variety of skipping ropes, however, among them there are not so many high-quality and durable. Therefore, the author suggests making a solid, solid skipping rope do it yourself.
To make the rope you will need:
- sheathed cable - sold in most construction stores;
- handles from a cheap rope with bearings or a plastic plumbing pipe and bearings;
- soldering iron;
- scissors for metal.
The price of the cable in the shell is low, in the store it will be cut off the required length. The length can be determined "by eye", it is better to take with a margin. Then cut the cable to fit your size with metal scissors. The required size is determined as follows. Take both ends of the cable in your hand and extend at the level of your chest. The lower end of the future rope should touch the ground.
The author slipped the cable into the handles of an old rope with bearings and soldered the ends with a soldering iron.
It turned out great and very durable skipping rope.
If there is no old rope and there is no desire to buy cheap for pens, then the latter can be made in the same way with your own hands. The material can be cut plastic pipes with plugs at one end, it will only be necessary to choose suitable bearings.
