Who did not build halabuds and tents in childhood? Probably every child-lover to use tables, chairs, bedspreads, and everything that comes to hand for such purposes. However, it is much more difficult to find lovers to sort such "houses" among children. Therefore, this task rests with the parents.
The solution that will suit both parents and children will be the idea to sew a game tent.
Necessary materials:
- 4 m tulle with a fine pattern;
- 3 m tulle with a large pattern;
- 6 slats measuring 0.025 * 0.05 * 2.5 m;
- 2-3 m of rope 0.01 m thick;
- 1 m gum;
- 2 m thick yarn;
- threads;
- drill with a drill;
- sewing machine;
- ruler;
- a pencil;
- pins;
- iron;
- push pins.
1 step
Prepare all the necessary materials for work.
2 step
Using a pencil and a ruler, measure 20 cm from one edge of the rail and fix with marking. Do the same with the rest of the rails. Using a drill, drill through holes according to the marking on the rails.
3 step
Pull the rope through the holes in the slats and assemble the slats in a circle, fixing it with a not tight knot from the rope. Set the resulting blank for the tent and adjust the position of each rail.
4 step
Spread the tulle with a large pattern on the surface of the table. Measure a section 60-65 cm wide from the canvas (this is the width of the base of the triangular part) and make an incision according to the markup. On the opposite side of the canvas, set aside a distance of 30-32 cm (half the width of the base of the triangular part). Depart from the marked point 4 cm in both directions. Connect the top points with the bottom to form a truncated triangle. Cut the fabric according to the marking.
Using this blank, cut another 5 wedges from the tulle.
To trim the bottom of the tent, use a tulle with a small pattern. Measure a piece of 105 cm wide from the canvas and step back 95 cm up from the center of the lower edge. From the received point, measure 30 cm in each direction. Connect all the points, forming a trapezoid with a vertex width of 60 cm. Cut the fabric according to the markup.
Make 4 more trapeze blanks in the same way.
5 step
Fasten the blanks from tulle with large and small patterns in pairs with pins. Sew these designs on the sewing machine.
Do the same with the remaining workpieces. As a result, one triangular blank will remain unused.
6 step
Put together the blanks on the sides. Lock the sides with pins and stitch the seams.
7 Step
Dress the tulle tent over the rack frame and secure it with clerical buttons.
8 Step
From a tulle fabric with a small pattern, cut a piece 105 cm wide and 16 mm high. This segment will become the threshold of the tent.
Fold the line along the edge 1 cm, iron the fold with an iron and sew.
After that, set the finished threshold with the seam up. Now fasten the remaining triangular workpiece to the tent frame.
9-10 Step
Cut 2 pieces of 15 * 85 cm from the tulle with a small pattern. Tuck both segments along the edge, and then iron and stitch the folds. Fasten the pieces vertically on the sides of the tent opening.
11 Step
Cut a trapezoid blank from a tulle with a small pattern, which has a base of 80 cm, a height of 88 cm and a vertex width of 48 cm. This is a tent door blank.
12 Step
Bend all sides of the trapezoid along the edges, iron and stitch the folds.
13 Step
Remove the resulting blank and the rest of the tulle tent.
14 Step
Stitch the trapezoidal part to the top of the door blank.
15 Step
Sew all seams on the front panel from tulle.
16 Step
Connect the main workpiece to the front panel workpiece by flashing them in length.
17 Step
Fold the lower and upper edges of all the wedges of the tent, including the threshold.
18 Step
Cut 6 lengths of 15 cm from the elastic, and sew rings from them. Fasten each of the rings to the lower edges of the side seams of the wedges.
19 Step
Make 4 pieces of thick yarn 45 cm long.
20 Step
Sew pieces of yarn above the tent entrance: two on the outside and two on the inside. Using these ties, the tent door is locked open.
After the work done, call the child who will appreciate the results of your work.
