Since childhood, the author liked to engage in technology, and there was a desire to build his air passage or buggies. And when he got his garage and tools he was able to realize his desires. The author wanted to make a beautiful, light and economical buggy, while he had to be quite comfortable, able to swim and easy to repair.

During the construction, the author used as his own experience in repairing various equipment: motorcycles and cars, and studied options for designs on the Internet. The concept of a beach buggy was taken as a basis, but a suspension and many other details were added, which you can find in this article.

Materials and assemblies used in the construction of this buggy:

Consider the construction stages in more detail and analyze the design of all-terrain vehicle assemblies.

To begin with, the author made the frame and frame of the all-terrain vehicle:

The suspension was made by the author himself on racks from the frets 2109, as well as the rear shock absorbers of other classic vases. On the front axle, springs from cargo Dafa from under the cab were placed.

The rear of the all-terrain vehicle is assembled as a whole and is attached to the frame through the silent blocks of the rear beam from the VAZ 2109.

An engine from a motorcycle stroller was installed, which underwent a number of upgrades. To begin with, the author went through it, and then installed a cylinder from n5, as well as electric ignition from vases 2109. instead of the decompressor, a candle was screwed in and two wires were delivered, since the used coil is double and accordingly hits two candles at the same time.

An air filter was installed from the VAZ 2109, without a generator, since it has too much weight and does not fit the concept of a light buggy.

The drive is organized in a chain way from the motor the chain goes to an invalid gearbox, and from it through an asterisk from Izh to the wheel drive shaft, a rear star is mounted on the shaft from Izh to 42 teeth.

There is no differential, because in such an all-terrain vehicle it is simply not required, which means there is no need to complicate the design.
A disc brake was installed on the right rear wheel.

Control all-terrain vehicle organized through a cable system, with gas, clutch, gearbox and reverse being switched on electrically driven by the wipers, via two buttons: back and forth.

As a steering rack, a rail from the heel is installed, and fists and ball from classic vases.
The steering column is also from the classics, as well as the pedals.

A silencer from oki was also installed, and a seat from an old Opel was thrown into the salon. in front there is a fuel tank from an invalid with an injection pump, as well as a rechargeable battery and a tire inflation system.

After major improvements, the all-terrain vehicle was put on the main wheels, which use cameras from the T-150 trailer at the rear and Ural cameras at the front. Cameras for greater reliability are paired, that is, one in one.

The all-terrain vehicle is capable of speeds at 60 kilometers per hour, and standardly rides about 40-50 km per hour.
On strong off-road, the first gear is used as a low gear. Engine power is enough to drag Lada in second gear.

The ATV’s suspension is very soft, thanks in large part to the wheels on the cameras, which absorb the blows.

The design, as the author had expected, turned out to be reliable and robust, so even ski jumping is not terrible for this buggy.

The all-terrain vehicle is very light, lifted by one person with his hands. Suspension is excellent especially when riding on hills. The all-terrain vehicle does not feel bad on the water, jumps ashore very easily and quickly.

Unfortunately, in the snow, the quality of patency is much worse; the author thinks about upgrading the all-terrain vehicle to four-wheel drive and installing a more powerful engine.

As a replacement engine, the author considers the engine from Oka, which will work on all-wheel drive, since the rear-wheel drive is not enough for practical purposes, in the form of carrying a payload by the machine. At the time of construction, the author considered this car for entertainment purposes only.

It is planned to equip it in such a way that it is easy to remove and put it back, that is, if you need to go fishing, the trunk is installed and tackles and other supplies are loaded into it, and if the target is just driven, the trunk is dismantled.
