So we need:
- self-adhesive paper;
- 5 white LEDs;
- switch;
- corrugated cardboard;
- 2 finger batteries;
- compartment for batteries;
- stencil with the inscription.
First you need to fix the paper with the inscription on the cardboard. It is more convenient to do this with adhesive tape.
Next, take a breadboard knife and cut out the letters, not forgetting about the inner parts of the letters.
Now remove the white paper and make a box.
The author’s box height and thickness is 2.5 cm.
Next, you need to make an incision along the internal lines, and on the outside - completely cut off. We bend the side, upper and lower parts, forming a box.
Let's move on to the LED bulbs. Conventional LEDs have a convex shape and shine with a dot. For the best effect, you need to get diffused light, and for this it is worth biting off the tip of the LED bulb.
We take the wires and with the help of an office knife remove the insulation in five places at the same distances.
Now you need to solder the LEDs to the wires, not forgetting to observe the polarity.
We assemble the box with a glue gun.
We make holes in the side of the box and fasten the wires with LEDs into these holes.
We connect the plus and minus wires from the batteries to the wires through the switch.
We take self-adhesive paper and do not forget about the inside of the letters and glue our box.
Our box with luminous letters is ready to decorate the New Year's interior.
