For this I needed: a barrel of 200 - 250 liters with 2 stoppers; wooden block 5 x 10 cm .; bar 10 x 10, wire 6 mm .; die M6, 2 nuts M6; hacksaw; spring from the expander; 2 screws; eyeliner; drill; electric drill; adjustable wrench; silicone sealant.
I sawed off 2 pieces from a bar in the form of a rectangular trapezoid. I drilled a 6 mm vertical hole in them. (2 possible). A piece of wire was cut into 2 equal parts. At one end I made a bend, at an angle of 90 degrees, at the other I cut a thread. Set the trapezoid, the long side on the bar, drilled a hole in the bar 6 mm. I connected the bar with the trapezoid with the help of a bent wire and tightened the nut. It is better to place an enlarged washer under the nut, for better clamping. He put the barrel on the bar, pressing it to the trapezoid, set the second trapezoid and made markings. He removed the barrel and drilled a second hole. Also secured the second trapezoid. At the ends of the trapezoid screwed on a screw. He put down the barrel and pulled on the spring. I drilled a hole in the bottom plug and expanded it to the desired size. I cut an inch thread and screwed a liner nut, coated with sealant. Through the top cork, pour water from the column and drive to the country. Due to the fact that my site has a slope, I gravitate to collect not only water tanks for home and watering, but also fill the summer shower with a summer “water supply” made of a metal-plastic pipe (used) Also in the summer water supply there is a tap for home needs I’m using such a “water carrier”. Have a good harvest!
