I set out to assemble a drying cabinet for drying laboratory glassware. Because I’m doing a similar thing for the first time. I ask here for tips on the scheme and materials.
My thoughts on this matter: inner case - aluminum sheet, 4mm, outer case - stainless steel 2-3mm (Material selected from the conditions of processing and purchase availability). A nichrome heater must be laid between the housings based on an operating temperature of 120-200C.
The space between the buildings will be filled with heat-resistant material, what? It seems possible to fill in banal plaster?
A dimmer will also be included in the electrical circuit to control the power on the heater and a digital thermometer.
I want to turn on the thermostat, but I don’t know if there is enough knowledge in electronicsto install it correctly.
Also, questions are raised by the door, the method of closing it, etc.
In general, the idea is at the stage of deliberation. I will gladly accept any advice, comments.
Thanks!
