Hello dear the inhabitants of our site. I present to you the photo report on how to make a bed for a boy in the form of a Ferrari machine.
For work you will need: Plywood, preferably 1-1.6 cm, a fretsaw, a drill or a screwdriver, a grinder or grinding nozzles for a grinder, self-tapping screws, drawer guides, any program with the ability to 3D-design, paint.
We create a three-dimensional model of the machine in the program.
On paper, according to the layout, we create patterns and transfer them to plywood.
We start to cut out the details.
One part of the future bed is ready.
The entire structure will consist of several parts, which will subsequently be attached together. As you can see in the photo above, there is a rectangular hole on the workpiece. This is the place for the drawer that will slide out from under the bottom of the machine.
We proceed to transfer to plywood the following structural elements and their sawing.
We assemble the basis for the bed. All component products will be attached to it. The width of the bed is what you want.
Putting the front hood box. It, like the box, has a cavity inside for storing any children's things.
Further, all parts are attached to the housing. This is a draft assembly to find out how everything will look in its place and whether it is necessary to fake or change anything.
Everything is polished. We start painting parts of our bed. The color is naturally your choice.
The machine will be partially painted with another paint. To do this, do not paint individual parts of the part, just cover everything with one color, and then decide where the parts of a different color will be, wait for the first coat of paint to dry, apply paint on top of another color.
Paint the rest of the details. We also install transverse stiffeners inside the bed frame. Two ribs will additionally be the walls of the box. We assemble the box itself and put guides for it in the cavity of the machine.
On the top of the bed we put plywood and a mattress.
After all the work done, a boy can get such a bed.
