Choosing a baby bed is not an easy task for parents. Now short, then long, now wide, then narrow. Here is the author homemade I could not find a bed for my son to my liking, and decided to make it myself.
Tools and materials:
- Plywood 18 mm;
-Sheet perforated stainless steel;
-PVA glue;
-Lamels;
-Paint;
-Fasteners;
-A screwdriver;
- Clamps;
-CNC machine;
-AutoCAD;
The first step was designing the bed. A drawing of the bed was made in AutoCAD. Then he bought the sheets of plywood to the workshop. In the workshop on the CNC machine according to the project, blanks were cut.
I cut two inserts from a perforated stainless steel sheet. I fixed them with screws.
Using glue, I connected the side wall with the overlay.
Clamps fixed parts until the glue dries.
After the glue has dried, it connected the two side walls with transverse bars.
I inserted into the cutout of the lamella.
Painted the bed in white
and red colors.
After the bed was almost ready, the author realized that some detail was missing. Wheel overlays were additionally cut on the machine. After they were put in place and painted black, the bed-car was completely ready.
