Quite often it happens that we need firewood. For heating the house, any utility rooms, when traveling to nature and in many other cases. Therefore, such a question is always relevant, how to quickly and conveniently cut the required amount of firewood, without spending a lot of time, effort and energy. In this case, ordinary goats for cutting wood will come to the rescue. Gathering such a goat will not be much effort. With the necessary tools and the right materials, the assembly process takes about two hours. It should immediately be indicated that quality and durable materials should be selected as the material. And in order for the finished product to serve you for a long time, it must be covered with some kind of antiseptic, which will save the tree from moisture and damage by insects.
To make this stand for cutting firewood, logs or boards, the size of which will be one meter, the following will be required materials and tools:
wood screws,
M8 bolts with nuts and washers - three pieces each,
6 bars 1 m long,
and 4 boards, also one meter long and about 8 cm wide,
8-10 key, saw or jigsaw, screwdriver.
To get started, read the drawings and dimensions of the goat. You can follow the author’s advice and produce it in the same way as he does in size, or you can customize them to fit your needs.
The assembly process begins with the manufacture of legs. For this, bars are taken in which through holes are drilled through bolts at a certain distance from the top. To prevent the bars from shifting during drilling, it is recommended to grab them with clamps. Holes are made in all six blanks. Next, the supporting bars are connected by bolts.
Now a board is taken, which will serve as the transverse support of the whole goat. Holes are drilled in the boards into which self-tapping screws will be screwed in order to attach the boards to the bars. Since you will conduct connections with folded bars for convenience, it is mentally necessary to divide the bars by numbers, from 1 to 6. Next, we fix the boards. On the one hand we fasten them to blocks 1-3-5, in the upper part.At the top, they need to be arranged so that when unfolded, these boards serve as clamps and do not allow the structure to unfold completely. On the same bars we fasten the board below. Then the design flips over and similar actions are repeated. Only we fix the top board to the bars 2-4-6.
