Step One: Frame Making
From the corner cuts workpieces to size.

I cleaned the blanks. He chamfered.
A burner burned wooden workpieces.
Joined three boards with glue. Cut a square hole under the profile.

Forged nails from a rod.
He hammered nails into the hole in the strips welded above and below the profile.
