Camera tripod

Useful Tripod device for amateur photographers and essential for professional photographers. One of the options for making a tripod, with your own hands, will be considered in this article.

Tools and materials:
-Plywood;
- Screw M5 35 mm-9 pcs;
- Screw M6 40 mm-2 pcs;
-Hinged finger with thread;
-Paint;
- brush;
-Glue;
- CNC milling machine;
-Drilling machine;
-Vise;
- Clamps;
-Screwdriver;
-Sandpaper;



Step One: Project
At first, the AutoCAD auto-maker created a project for all parts of the tripod. You can download files using the links below.

Step Two: Making Parts
For the legs of the tripod, the author used 6mm plywood. The prop and the “lamb” screws cut out of plywood 12 mm.









After all the parts are cut, they are processed with sandpaper.


Step Three: Screws
He drills holes in the "lamb" and washers and glues screws into them. Nuts glued into the washers.











Step Four: Feet and Support
The legs of the tripod are made of two halves. Between the two halves of the legs, at the bottom, glues the insert.
Glues two parts of a support. Secures the pivot pin to the support.
















Step Five: Painting and Assembly
After preparing all the parts, they are painted and assembled.






The tripod is ready. Now the photos will be better.
