Powerful led headlight

Hello everybody. To drive at night, he assembled a powerful headlight from the available parts.
As a basis, I took the radiator from the computer processor. I installed a 10 W LED on it.

I made a reflector from a plastic bottle after painting it inside with chrome paint.

The case took from a plastic tube.

I made a cover to protect the headlights from a film from a laptop screen.

To attach the protection, cut off the ring from the tube and put it tightly on the body. Do not cut and go inside with sandpaper.

For attaching to bike I took the fasteners from the pipe. This can be bought at any building store.

At the bottom, holes must be drilled to remove heat.

The power of the headlight is simple - this is the battery from the battery. drills that are secured in the bag behind the seat. If the battery is not 12 V, it is necessary to assemble the stabilizer on the LM 8012.

Thank you all for your attention.

And why are you so tormented? You go to fixprice, buy any USB lamps, you just have to fix it on a bicycle, power it from an external battery for your phone and it will be light like day.

The granddaughter had just arrived from a trip around Russia in a car - he had driven 5000 km and had not made a single accident.

Well, not everything depends on the grandson, let’s say so. Most likely did not have an accident.

And with her granddaughter, is everything all right? Something he often began to "bring"?
Can the legacy already affect?

Doesn’t your couple like that? ...

The words "using a resistor" are superfluous.

The LED is a current device, i.e. the current through it must be limited by a resistor.
The words "using a resistor" are superfluous.
It makes no sense. ((And it is useless. ((
A person does not know and, what is most regrettable, does not want to know about the existence of the concept of "reliability" in relation to technical devices.
If the light shines now, then this will continue. There is no degradation of semiconductors - these are all inventions of mossy specialists who do everything according to textbooks and datasheet. Brakes invented by tratsy.

So what does your “grandmother” say about current limitation?

Is current limited to anything? Only the internal resistance of the battery? After all, zinc (and there most likely, just such) is capable of delivering enormous currents (Up to 40 amperes can happen in a screwdriver !!). Doesn't the diode burn?
