In this article, I show and talk about how to make the next key of railway workers, namely the four-sided one.
So, in order to do it, you will need:
- Sheet metal;
- pliers;
- Hexagon;
- tetrahedron;
- Super glue;
- A pen;
- Ruler;
- Scissors for metal;
- Paper tape;
- Insulating tape.
Step 1.
We take a metal piece and cut out a piece of it 65 mm long, and 25 mm wide.
Next, get acquainted with the drawing.
Step 2
Draw lines (using a ruler and pen), according to the drawing.
Next, cut the metal piece along the lines.
Step 3
Bend a piece along the lines.
Later we take the tetrahedron and move the dimensions along them.
Step 4
Next, glue open places, and fix with paper tape.
Step 5
Now we take the hexagon and wrap its end to fit to the size of the key.
After we wrap, fix, and glue.
Next we wrap our homemade electrical tape for a better look
That's all the tetrahedral key, or the tetrahedron is ready!
