I make cheese in home conditions. I make cheese from farm milk with the addition of sourdough and rennet. The cheese is very tasty, without any additives. It is stored for a long time.

The technology for making cheese at home is fairly well described on the Internet, you just have to search. When preparing cheese, it must be pressed. For this, I assembled this design of the press.

In the manufacture of the press is very simple. Made of wooden beam 50x50 mm. I don’t give the dimensions of the press, they depend on the equipment used (a tray for collecting whey, a mold for cheese). Sizes are made for them. It is made very simply. Bars are cut and stitched together with large self-tapping screws. Simple and cheap.

In my distant village childhood, my grandmother constantly made cheese (From my farm in the summer I got about 40-50 liters of milk a day. There was nowhere to put it, so the cheese was mountains and everything was fried in butter .... Since then I hate the taste of fried on drain oil))))). But her technology was simpler. She had several “cottage cheese” - triangular bags of very dense fabric.These bags were suspended and yogurt poured into them - the cottage cheese was made (the whey drained into the substituted bucket, the cottage cheese remained inside). And if you need cheese, then my grandmother added sourdough to the yogurt (this was also done "at the milk level"), then the same process of "cottage cheese", only this "cheese" cottage cheese was not taken out, but wrapped and laid right in the "cottage cheese" for a long time under oppression (usually a huge flat stone, 50 kilograms). After some time, the cheese was ready. Some were then salted and dried, others were eaten immediately. But all the cheeses we had were in the form of an irregular triangle with rounded edges ...)))))
