Hello to all lovers homemade, probably everyone who wanted to shoot a video in his workshop or was thinking somewhere else about how to fix the camera most successfully. I at one time tried to build some bulky structures to install the camera, but then I decided that I needed to do something more convenient, that it would not take up much space, and if necessary, simply be removed before the next shoot. In this article, I will describe how I made a universal camera holder that helped me with the shooting of my homemade videos.
To assemble the holder do it yourself will need:
* The shock absorber of the rear door from the VAZ 2112
* Camera head with 1/4 "thread
* M6 cogs
* Parquet floors
* Metal plates or suspensions
* Electric drill
* Metal scissors
* Small screwdrivers
* M4 threaded lamb
* A pair of M4 screws
* Epoxy adhesive
* Hacksaw
* Rubber
That's all you need for assembly, you can start the process itself.
Step one.
First of all, you need to fix the head for the camera on the floor, for this, I drilled three holes with a drill with a drill slightly less than the diameter of the M6 screw and screwed three screws into them already. These screws hold firmly enough, so you can not be afraid that the camera will fall when shooting.
Step Two
To change the tilt of the camera when shooting, you need to saw off the parquet, as shown in the photo and cut the second length of the same length.
The second segment with the first will be mounted through a suspension, in which holes have already been made in advance. I screwed them onto two screws on each side, having previously drilled small holes in that place so that the piece of wood would not burst.
Then he bent the extra part of the suspensions, which also increased strength, as a kind of stiffener appeared.
Step Three
On the part where the head for mounting the camera on both sides is installed, I drilled holes in the middle, and already in them glued the studs that I made from the M4 screws onto the epoxy, just sawing off the hat.
The planks will be fixed relative to each other with just the help of the lambs, which are wound on glued studs.
The holes that were previously suspended on the suspensions were slightly different in diameter, so I decided to drill them in a slightly different place.
For a better grip, I put a small washer under each of the lambs.
Step Four
Now it's time to lengthen the structure, my choice fell on the shock absorber of the tailgate from the VAZ 2112, since it had long been idle.
If you do not have such a shock absorber, then you can extend the holder, for example, using a telescopic fishing rod or a flat board. To fix the shock absorber with the movable part of the holder, I sawed the mount from the floor, which repeated the shape of the standard shock mount.
Then he drilled a couple of holes around the edges and sawed off the excess part of the parquet.
He also drilled two holes for screws in the mating part. He fixed the shock absorber on two long screws, pre-laying the rubber so that there would be no turning in the place of attachment.
It turned out such a selfie stick.
Step Five
In order to install the holder, you need to make another mount, which can be screwed to a table or shelf. From the same suspension, I cut a segment, which in the end should fit snugly against the shock absorber tube, it turned out like this.
In the parquet, I drilled holes for roofing screws and putting rubber tightly fixed the shock absorber in the fasteners.
So that the holder does not warp, I made an emphasis from the same parquet, which I screwed onto the M8 bolt from the edge of the base.
The camera holder is ready for this, you can mount it on clamps or screws, with it I have already shot a couple of clips on my channel, in the future it will be even better. Thank you all for your attention and creative success.
