Any picnic outside the city is always associated with a “barbecue” trip. And for the quality cooking of barbecue and barbecue you will need a barbecue. Its use is justified for many reasons.
Firstly, making fire on the grass is not very good in relation to nature. After all, bonfires may not overgrow for years.
Secondly, it does not comply with fire safety standards.
Thirdly, for barbecue requires an even and intense heat. It is rather difficult to get such heat from the coal in the fire, which is constantly blown by the wind.
Of course, no one will drag a whole brazier with them. Therefore, a logical conclusion suggests itself: the brazier should be folding or prefabricated. Prefabricated barbecue facilities are available. However, after assembly, it is not so simple to disassemble them. Although such barbecue facilities themselves are quite good, they heat up very much from the heat, and plates stick in the legs. Even if you manage to disassemble such a barbecue after assembly, then then you certainly will not be able to assemble it back. Only soot in vain will you get dirty.
It is best to independently make a folding barbecue out of ordinary sheet metal, lightweight and easy to transport. The design must be provided so that the brazier can quickly fold and unfold. Also, it should not be dirty with soot. For this purpose, the smoked inner surface of the barbecue should be closed.
The brazier, made according to these drawings, will be folded into a case with a convenient transportation handle. Inside, there will be skewers and a grill. The dimensions of the barbecue are set based on the standard size of skewers for hiking conditions: 60 cm.
For the bottom to serve as long as possible, it must be made of thick sheet metal, or of stainless sheet steel. The sides of the bottom should be bent at the places indicated by dashed lines in the drawing. At the bottom of the bottom, you need to weld the M8 nuts at all angles. Legs will be attached to them. For stability of the barbecue, its legs must be sharpened.
The side walls are attached to the barbecue on furniture awnings, and those, in turn, are fixed using screws or electric welding.
The shipping handle can be used either home-made or purchased. The main thing is that it be as convenient as possible.
So that the brazier itself does not unfold, be sure to provide one of its walls with a latch or hook.
At the end of the work, the brazier must be painted with heat-resistant paint in spray cans. Such paint is used, for example, for coloring mufflers and quietly withstands temperatures up to 600 degrees.
Grill and kebabs should be fried when the coals are covered with a small layer of ash and as if “turn gray”. A layer of ash protects the kebab from excessive heat. Such a barbecue will be useful not only for campers and travelers. It can also be used by fishermen and tourists, as a convenient portable stove.
