Step one. Furnace body
Dangerously!!!
The furnace body is made of a small gas cylinder, we have to cut the cylinder into two halves. It is strictly forbidden to cut the cylinder without rinsing, this leads to serious explosions and sometimes death.
The easiest way to protect yourself from the explosion is to fill the bottle with water and cut it in this state. Some masters also carefully rinse the cylinders with water, but this method requires more time and effort. Please note that gas condensate may catch fire when cutting the cylinder.
After cutting, the author armed himself with a grinder and brushed off all the paint. To make the paint easier to remove, some masters burn it. To remove paint, a thick grinding disc for a grinder, petal nozzles and the like are most suitable.
Step Two Legs
The oven must be stable so that the whole dinner is not on the ground. The author made the legs of a steel bar, bent two structures in the form of the letter "P". We weld the legs to the bottom of the furnace.
Step Three Lattice
We take sheet steel and cut out a “plate” for the furnace from it. In the center of the plate, you need to cut a window, and weld a steel grid on top. Coals will be under this same grill. We hang the lattice on the hinges, and if there are no hinges, we use bolts with nuts. Note that if you do not use the oven for a long time, the thread may rust and there will be problems with loops. For long-term operation it is possible to lubricate the threads with graphite grease.
Step Four Feet and Fork
We make supports from sheet steel, we bend them in the form of the letter "G". So that the oven can be disassembled, it is better to mount the supports through bolts with nuts, the author welded the nuts directly to the stove plate.
We also make a fork, on which we will plant chicken or other food. Here you need to use stainless steel rods, as all other materials will be oxidized, and harmful to health. We cut a stainless bar and weld a fork from it.
Step Five Swivel mechanism
We make a rotary mechanism, the author took the gear motor, this can be obtained from the fan. As an option, you can use the motor from car wipers, it can be powered from 12V. Under the motor we make fasteners from sheet steel.
At the end, it remains to connect the plug to the motor shaft. Using a grinder, we cut a gap in the motor shaft. At the end of the fork, we weld a piece of steel plate, which should easily go into the shaft slit. That's all, we get excellent grip, the plug can be easily removed without touching the motor.
Step Six Painting and testing
The oven is ready, we paint everything with heat-resistant paint so that the homemade product pleases the eye, serves for a long time and does not rust.
You can light the coals, they are placed on the grate installed inside the furnace, this is a kind of grate. We put the chicken on the fork, turn on the motor and enjoy the sight. You can control the speed of the motor with a dimmer and so on. As a result, we get perfectly fried chicken. It is possible to fry kebabs, sausages and whatever you like. And if you want tea, you can put the kettle on the grill and it will heat up pretty quickly.
