A cylinder from freon was lying in my deposits. I bought a couple of these at 100 rubles apiece. You can buy at the service station, so their shaft. The wall thickness of the cylinder is about 1.5 mm. Oh yes, we will make a small smokehouse. It will be possible to smoke in it: lard, fish, chicken, sausages and so on.
For homemade we will need:
- cylinder from freon;
- 4mm screws;
- nuts for screws;
- profile for gypsum board;
- hairpin segment M8
- 4 nuts M8;
- 4 washers per 8 mm;
- grinder;
- drill, drill 4.5 mm.
Assembly.
The most standard cylinder from freon. There are a lot of them at the service station, as well as refueling tankers. Color is not fundamental. For marking even sawing, I used paper tape. You can take a paper tape or something else. Also unscrewed the tap. The cylinder, with an open tap, lay with me upside down.
To the working surface, to prevent "walking" of the balloon, I screwed a couple of boards. The cylinder in them does not turn and does not walk from side to side.
Saw off part of the cylinder with a grinder. Be sure to use safety glasses. It turned out two halves. The smaller will be the cover.
I decided to install a strip of metal on the lid. It will serve as a guide. I take a profile for gypsum board and cut the strip.
I drill holes on the lid. I make markings on the tape and also drill holes.
I fasten the strip to the screws. Without washers and growers. On the street will go and such an option. Immediately set the hairpin. I did not cut it, later I will fasten the meat pad. Such a "satellite dish" turned out.
I fasten a strip of steel on a hairpin, applied a strip from an old MFP. I drilled a few holes for hooks.
To drain fat you need a container. He took the old pan without a handle.
I will put the pan on a stand from the night lamp. At the bottom of the smoker I put chips from fruit tree.
Close the lid, put on the brazier with fire. I smoked sausages, smoked wonderful. Sausages were available for them, and smoked, best of all I think to smoke lard. I’ll try it later. Collected such a smokehouse.
