Do-it-yourself water pump (pomp) for the aquarium

Good day, Friends. Many of us have a home aquarium, and as we know, fish need running water to survive. And a water pump will help us with this. You can say that it’s easier to buy, and I will also answer that it’s easier. But for a while you can make it do it yourselfif the purchase is out of order or there is no way to buy it. And on the Internet, I came across one video that shows the manufacture of a good pump. Have a nice viewing!

What materials and tools the author needed can be seen and read in the article itself.

Step 1: First, the author took a syringe, removed the piston from it, and cut off the “nose”. Then he drilled a hole in the "nose" area. And using a glue gun I glued a piece of tubing, as shown in the photo.

Step 2: Then, leaning the syringe against a large lid, the author marked the mark. I cut the syringe at the right angle, and made a hole in the two covers.

Step 3: Then, in one of the covers, he made a hole in which he inserted a motor, and sealed hermetically with transparent glue.

Step 4: Taking the usual cover, he applied the symmetrical marking, which is shown in the photo. With the help of a clerical knife, the author made a slot in the lid. Then he cut out blades from a can, which he inserted into the slots. And for reliability, glued them together with glue.

Step 5: He glued the gear in the lid with the blades so that the lid held well on the motor. Then he put this blank on the motor, and closed the structure with a lid. He glued the covers together and soldered them together using a soldering iron.

Step 6: To this blank, glued a syringe. Taking a tube of a certain length, the author glued a cover to it, in which he made a hole in advance. And glued it to the pump.

Step 7: Taking a small piece of the board, the author screwed 4 rubber legs to it, so that this structure would not "jump" from vibration. Then I glued the pump, battery and switch to the board, and connected them with wires.

This pump can suck water from the bottle (if turned over) with a tube, or you can simply immerse the tube in the aquarium.
